Exactly. The point is that viscosity is temperature dependent and the actual viscosity the engine sees is dependent on ambient temps, load and length of operation. Two vehicles operating at the same time could have oil temps anywhere from -20 to 250+ and the oil has to be able to handle that range. A 40 or 50 grade can have a thinner viscosity in summer AZ than a 0w-20 in Alaska winter. If the engine can accommodate the higher viscosity of 20 grade in subzero then it can equally accommodatethe 40 or 50 grade in AZ summer.

Are these your photos?
Yes, that was in 2017 when I was a good hiker. Now I am too lazy to hike that far.

You could possibly sell some of those. Very nice. What camera/lens did you use?

Where is this? Is it a particular trail?

I have been starting to get into hiking past couple of years but haven't done anything major yet. I got interested in it when I had to redo my overland/camping rig and needed to save space and weight. Amazing you can carry all your gear (clothes, cooking equipment, sleeping system and shelter, food for a week in one bag all for under 30 lbs! Most car campers add a zero to that number.

It was a Samsung Galaxy phone camera. The trails are near mount Rainier and mount Baker. I had to work hard, camped in my Camry for a couple of nights.

Guys, here is an adventure idea. I think all states have alternate roads, the 300 years old routes called the BDR(Backcountry Discovery Route). Drive from Seattle to Miami through BDR 😃👍

Guys, this magnet is strong

Jeep Wrangler JL Ditch the 0w-20 before its too late. {filename}
I have that one on my Gladiator and it's so strong that I have to really yank it when I open it up to drain oil. Otherwise, it sticks partly in the hole and causes oil to spray everywhere.

I have a Gold Plug on my JLUR and it is strong, too. But I think this one is stronger.

I should hand tight it, right? Also, did you find any metal on it?

The highest I've been in my JL was Pikes Peak Colorado. 14,000 or so feet. Not enjoyable!! Too much of a drop off, and I White Knuckled it a lot of the way up. Not to mention the altitude was getting to me. i think that was back in 2019. I'm ready to do it again. Next time, minus three kids, because they are grown now.

This is where my dad grew up, thank goodness he brought us to the city. It's really rough up there, 27,000 ft Peaks and ridiculously cold Winters, I mean July is like 20° over there 😃
