UPDATE:::
This is what I found out! I started the Jeep up and still fires right up and sound like it is running normal. Very quiet! I put a scanner on and the Code was P0087 which says Fuel Rail Reserve Too Low! I cleared the Code! That was the only code I have on the Jeep! Any thoughts or was it simply what I thought a bad prime job? I will have to do this 5-10 times next time! My GMC Diesel was not this picky! Do chime in as I am up for the education and learning experience! I do thank everyone that has replied for the insight and help! Still trying to learn my Jeep!
happens, the tazer mini says its able to read and clear DTCs. so as long as its just fuel rail pressure it should be fine to clear and just bleed the system like you did. diesels are tempermental like that, atleast in my experience with powerstrokes and new hollands.

The best investment for your EcoDiesel is a Banks iDash. It will also clear codes. Many (most?) EcoDiesel owners run either an iDash or Scangauge to monitor regens. If you get an iDash, also buy the A-pillar mount.

I prime my fuel filter 7 or 8 times each time & it still cranks for a few seconds longer than normal...not much else we can do. And, yes, get a Tazer or iDash setup for monitoring conditions and clearing events...cheers, and welcome to the high anxiety / compulsive life of owning an Ecodiesel 🤪

I too prime 7-10x and I feel like it cranks for 30 sec after. I should time it, it's probably like 5...

yep, every second cranking feels like 10 when it's starving for fuel! 😜
