Probably the last desert wheelin of this season, spent last Saturday with a cool Jeep group at Cougar Buttes in Lucerne Valley, CA.

Desert camping is absolutely done for the season, too damn hot. We still have desert wheeling planned around Vegas memorial day weekend and in AZ in June. Staying in resorts for both of those trips, but the AC in the Jeep keeps up just fine when it's 110⁰+. We ran table Mesa last summer when it was 115⁰ without issues. Desert camping is limited to Oct-Apr for sure.

Headed to rocky gap this morning. Did lucky strike and Mormon well road Friday. Burro wash and swimming in lake mead Saturday. The control arm drop brackets make the ride so much smoother across rough roads. I still say the best >$300 upgrade I've ever done to any of the 20 Jeeps we've owned over the last 25 years.
