Is a dealer different than any other business? Their goal is to make a profit. That does not make them your enemy. I know the cookies are tied to the survey, but is anyone going to give a good score if they had a bad experience? My experience was good. My dealer gives a lifetime powertrain warranty free. The only limitation is that they do all work. That was handed to me along with offers of extended warranty and other services. The only thing I opted for was glass protection that cost about the same price as one windshield. I declined extended warranties as I will be modifying my Jeep. I had my own financing but the dealer beat that rate so I took theirs. Their goal isn't to make money on the sale as much as on servicing your vehicle. I do my own service, usually at twice the recommended intervals so they probably aren't getting anything there. I had a good experience, was never rushed or pressured and actually BS, d quite a few times with my dealers guys. My sales guy was a jeeper himself and actually told me to strip as much of the $15000 in parts off my Jeep before trading. The weekend before I took it to my friends Offroad shop and swapped my fox shocks, teraflex brakes, Clayton control arms, synergy Steering, bumpers and drive shafts for everyone else's worn out stuff. My trade in price didn't change.Gifts or not, dealership is not your friend by any means. They want all 10's on their friggin survey and that is the why for the gifts. That survey is a big deal to them.. to the salesperson.
If they deserve the 10's give them 10's but if not be honest regardless of the crapola they gave you.. Again, dealership is not your friend!
Also, they made money on you. Dealer always wins at that casino..
I'm looking to place an order for a JL who do you recommend I deal with to get the best deal Jason or Ruseel? When I ordered they started at invoice and I worked them down a bit more at delivery. From what I've seen, at least on an ordered Jeep, everything is off of invoice. My sales guys were Jason Burns and Russel Hardin.
I'm not sure if Russell is a sales guy or management. I originally went to him as I'd seen him posting on a local Jeep group. He sent me to Jason. Both are pretty low key and at least for ordering a Jeep there was zero pressure on anything. Jason is just an extremely nice guy and not in he "slick" car salesman kind of way.I'm looking to place an order for a JL who do you recommend I deal with to get the best deal Jason or Ruseel?
Callan Perry is the fleet manager who does the actual ordering. i went and dealt straight with him. i was their first jl order. really nice guy.I'm looking to place an order for a JL who do you recommend I deal with to get the best deal Jason or Ruseel?
Yup, Callen is from where I grew up. He handled my order as well, both he, Jason and Russ. They work very much as a team there. Not the usual competitiveness you normally see at dealer.Callan Perry is the fleet manager who does the actual ordering. i went and dealt straight with him. i was their first jl order. really nice guy.
