Minus the forbidden glitter and the disconnecting rod, that engine is surprisingly clean for 120k miles. I know the Pentastar is port injected, but I expected more crud buildup and definitely more damage to the cams.

At least every 1k miles is the bare minimum. You should also wait 6 business days after starting the engine before you start driving.

I also started adding ice cubes to my coolant and it improved my MPG.
