I have a 2018 Jl and am having so many issues!! Has been to the dealership 3 times and had 39 codes. It won’t shift out of park and lights up like a Christmas tree. They replaced a electrical relay that had rusted in the engine bay on the passenger side firewall.

How old is your battery?

Took the main battery out and had to tested is one year old and replaced the aux battery 1 month ago

It sounds like they replaced the Power Control Relay. When it fails it can prevent the aux battery from charging as well as preventing system power from getting to the system electronics. The only other PCR failure I've heard of was also on a 2018 and was due to poorly attached battery cables causing enough heat to melt it. I suspect that's what happened with yours.

So dealer still has the Jeep and had to contact engineers to bypass a wiring harness to see if that is the culprit.

Still being looked at now on to the next culprit. They are going to change out the engine wiring harness!!!
