D1 in July

You've had better luck than I have then out of Jeep Chat. The most accurate info for me has been through the dealer. Even when I was in D1, Jeep Chat couldn't tell me a build date. The dealer did though...and it was spot on. The most info I have gotten in order has been:

1) Dealer
2) Jeepgarage
3) Jeep Chat

Just got informed my Jeep is at inspections. How long till I get it we will see. But went into D1 on the 10th of July! Ordered on the 21st of June. Hope others are gettting luckier!

Update: I called Jeep Chat on Wednesday and they shared that I was at B or E status, but the representative didn’t seem like he really knew. He shared my Jeep was scheduled to be shipped the next day. I just received a text from my salesman that my Jeep is in transit and they expect it before the end of July. My salesman mentioned that Wranglers have been shipping fairly well from the factory by rail. The problem has been truck transport to the individual dealers. He said they are on the phone everyday fighting to get their new Wranglers to their lot from a holding yard 25 miles away.

7/19-Ordered JLUR right before deadline for 2018. LED pkg noted as "Constrained"
7/23-Confirmed D1 status with VIN#.
Seems quick but anything can happen...


UPDATE. Dealer confirmed an estimated 7/27 ship date! 8 days from order! Dealer in MD, so ship from OH shouldn't be a long delivery.

Ordered Sting Gray 2 door Rubicon on 7/13...factory accepted order on 7/14...got news of D1 status today with ship date of 8/1/18.

I just contacted my dealer as well. Mine was ordered 7/19 just before deadline. VIN on the 20th. D1/sequenced for production with all parts on site on 23rd. Silly fast compared to my last order in 2013 that took about 10 weeks.

One thing I've learned in this process is that an order right near the close of orders moves awful fast.

Told today it's in D1. Forgot to ask how long it's been in D1 but whatever. Just glad something is happening.

I'm up to KZ S (something about shipping as far as I can gather). Dealer estimates mid to late August - later than previously estimated
