So, Wendy and I are so excited. We ordered our new JLU Rubicon on 2-16-18. I called to get the VON on Monday, 2-19-18, President's Day. At that time we were given our VIN also. Today I checked the tracking spreadsheet, and we were upgraded to D1 status. This seems to be moving very fast. Although, we are excited, we also have some reservations, knowing that delays can happen!

Ya. Mine was built in less than 3 weeks but that's when the wait begins. "On a railcar" for 2+ weeks. No telling what state it's in. Might be here tomorrow or might be 2 more weeks. Who knows. Getting built quick and shipped is awesome but the long waits come from the ship. Looks like you're in MN. so that will help. Not to far from Ohio. It's a long train ride for us folks in the South and the Cali/AZ. folks have a very long wait. I knew karma would get me for being excited about a quick build I got the best deal you can get from a dealer but in future I think I'll order from a Ohio dealer and road trip to take delivery

My wife said whatever I save between now and delivery can go towards the Jeep... she doesn’t understand the ramifications of that... I pulled 134 hours this pay period...LOL

I ordered mine the same day and it's also in D1, I asked the rep I was chatting with and she said "it can be in D1 status for up to 3 weeks", then she added, "for as fast s it is moving it is unlikely".
