Been 4 months now using EC stabilizer, absolutely no issues. From the old stock test unit to my current 140# EC I have on now, not one issue.

The only thing that’s happened, was the last unit didn’t return to center from driver’s side as fast as it did from passenger side. I couldn’t tell, and wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t tested it out after getting recall info from EC. John and Tony took care of it by swapping them out for everyone that needed it……. Great product, great people….

Obligatory pic……

Does sound like good service. I’m curious why so many people are reinstalling stock SS with relocated EC ?‍♂

The majority of the people I hear that are doing that are on stock steering linkages, I’m wondering if it’s because they’re lightweight and sub par bushings, that the pressurized EC is causing movement which is causing shimmy in the steering wheel…….

Don’t take this the wrong way, I love the JL platform, but the tie rod drag link and track bar are only adequate for stock configuration and tires. All 3 bars don’t add up to what just my tie rod weighs…. ? ……
Anyway just a theory…….
Also, flame retardant suit…. on…..?

That sounds like a reasonable theory. I agree on lightweight stock bars. Just swapping TBs front and rear was night and day. Also, holding the RK adj LCAs is like holy ?, they are beefy lol.

One year update:

So a year ago today I made my own seat jackers out of Azek. ( the wife’s favorite mod) I had every intention to make them out of aluminum. But these have worked better than I anticipated so imma leave em be for now……

Ok, does that bring the seat higher up? Excuse my question. Not a chop buster.

Yeah it lifts the front of the seat up a little. It drove the wife nuts , every time I’d put on the brakes, no matter how easy, she would slide forward. She constantly having to keep pushing on the floor board, got old on long trips. Not that she doesn’t stomp the floor when I’m driving trying to put on the brakes that’s different…. ?

Understand. I would fall under one of the worse passengers. I brake all the time and just do not like being one. I prefer to drive so I know what is going on. :whew: :lipssealed: The only person ever didn't have that issue with was my Dad. He raced autos way back in the day and I could even sleep.

Never slept with anyone else who was driving. Hell no!!

My wife is better than any collision warning system Detroit has ever made. She raises her hand when there is anything in front of me, she warns of any car turning or pulling near me. She warns when I get even several car links to something in from of me. She is fast and acts before the factory unit slows me down. She was my GPS before we had one back in the 90s. She trip planned and told me about turns ahead. She was and is still ahead of her time. Some might call it controlling, I just call it the advancing Polish warning device. Unlike the factory unit, you will get smacked if you do not pay attention. Expensive, but worth every penny.

A little maintenance today…… took my sway bar links off and cleaned them up and give them a good WD 40 bath….. wheelin around here requires a little maintenance more often. The sand is a bitch, it’s in the water holes, in the mud, everywhere….. and it wrecks havoc…..

…..and here they are all cleaned up….I know the bars are a little beat up, I can’t keep paint on them, so I stopped trying…… ……
