@ParadigmDawg not sure if your Wrangler is fixed, but feel free to join me if you want.

I'm actually in the process of identifying if I have a feasible way to install my own 1/4 in aluminum skid plate for my engine area, so until I have a skid plate on the front, I'm not planning on doing anything to heinous, that being said I'll definitely be looking for the more difficult trails this go around!

I will let you know. I test ran it at Bridgeport on some 4s and 5s and it seems fixed. I am actually ready for some easier trail days so I'm cool going easier.

@grandsrus because I found out he lives near me, so why not invite him.

You @HydroBlue22 because you commented on my last thread when I said I was going to Barnwell and ended up going to Northwest OHV. Though in hindsight, I just realized you're like two and a half hours away from me, you live over by Jay. I guess next time I go to Barnwell I'll invite you.

And @Vanburi because he lives somewhere off 75 north of Dallas, but he won't tell me where.

The last two times I posted in the Texas forum about an off-roading trip, both times were about a week out from when I went, and people didn't see it until it was too late. So I figured I would tag a few people who might be interested whose numbers I don't already have, and then see if maybe if they're interested in coming.

The more the merrier, you know!?

I gotcha. I appreciate the offer, but like you said, it'll be a 4.5 hour trip each way for me and staying the night isn't an option. My wife goes in for a minor medical thing on Tuesday and I'm the DD.
Maybe next time.

Personally I'm going to go with Van Alstyne... I mean it's right there in your name. Though Howe would be more likely, it's more of a middle than Van Alstyne is.

On the flip side, I've always been a fan of Weston. I guess I'll stick with Van Alstyne, FINAL ANSWER!!

Yep, Monday the 29th.

So with my job currently, I'm off ever Saturday Sunday Monday, and while I would like to go off-roading on Sundays as well sometimes instead of mondays, it directly impacts my time to spend with my family. On mondays, my wife works, kids are in school or daycare, and I can do whatever the hell I want. The downside of that being of the three OHV parks around me (northwest, barnwell, crossbar) only Crossbar is open on Mondays.

I'm sure maybe a couple times a year I might get out on a Sunday, but Sunday's require some ass kissing with the wife to make her okay with it. Monday's, it's my day, I do what I want!

That's cool, I bought my day pass 2 days ago and will be doing a couple maintenance things over this today and tomorrow before I go.

I finally got around to purchasing a proper high lift Jack mount, it's been a bitch bolting it to my roof rack. I'll install that this weekend too.

In the past I've been bringing this big ass cooler which because of how my backseat area is set up ends up flopping around too much, I usually fill it with a whole lot of ice and the 36 pack of Ozark water from brookshire's, and end up drinking one or two of them the whole day. Think I'm just going to bring my Costco cooler backpack this time, with 10 Waters inside. It'll be a nice change, because I won't have as much noise in the vehicle every time I hit a bump or fall off Rock, all that ice sloshing around.

But yeah, the more the merrier, and also there will be other days!
