Creaking front passenger seat while seated

Update: @JeepCares was super responsive. They PM’d me, I gave more info then they reached out by phone to let me know they opened a case and would sync with the dealer. Took my Wrangler in this morning and they had all of the notes in their system from @JeepCares (impressed with the coordination). In addition to doing a software update on the instrument cluster (was unaware there was an update available) they told me that I need a new seat back that they are ordering. My seat issue isn’t resolved quite yet, but I am impressed with the customer service provided so far by both @JeepCares and the dealer.

UPDATE: It took a little over a week for the part (seat frame) to come in and I took my Wrangler in to the dealer today. Left it for about 8 hours and now have it back. Creak seems to be gone. Time will tell, but definitely gone as of now. I got great aervice from my dealer and Jeep Wave and @JeepCares Nicole from Jeep Wave followed up with me multiple times. Terrific customer service.

Add me to the list of bad passenger seat. when taking turns you feel like the seat is adjusting itself. Does the passenger seat have a max weight of 125lbs. My car has less than 1k miles on it and already has 3 issues. The handle for the center console completely broke apart. Amazing how awful they make these vehicles. Made an appointment with the dealer next week and hopefully they resolve the issue!

mine has 400 miles and every time I go around a corner it sounds like something is under the passenger seat rolling from one side to the other but guess what nothing is there ((((

Same problem here, mine started around 2000 miles. Passenger seat noise when on turns. Guess I’ll be taking this to the dealer. Really annoying and frustrating too!

Just had mine in on Friday. Removed seat track and crimped weld assembly. No more noise.

I have the creak. Does anyone have the part number for the replacement part? I'd rather replace it myself then risk the dealer touching it.

Ugh, Only clubs we seem to become members of are the bad ones. My husband's 2018 Jeep Rubicon also has the passenger seat issue. When I'm it, it makes noise around every turn. I also can shift my rear in the seat and create the noise. I definitely feel it shift. Great for my self esteem, but seriously, is the seat loose, it seems dangerous? I guess we need to take it to a dealership. His console latch also broke within the first month of ownership, he fixed with help from youtube. Lastly, we have the wind noise issue, also coming from passenger side. So frustrating to trade an old vehicle needing to much maintenance, only to end up with a new vehicle needing the same!

I'm in the club too, since I got mine in April, was at the dealer a week after purchase and they just tightened the bolts, which didn't work. Second appointment and they ordered the part, which takes a couple of weeks to get in. Now if I could I could get some help with the loose steering (which the dealership refuses to address) and Jeep to fix the buggy uConnect software we'd be happy with our brand new Jeep! Most issues with a new car I have experienced, along with worst service (Turpin Motors of Geneseo, IL).

I started to hear a little rattle thought something loose under passenger side. Fathers day went with wife for breakfast and clunk noise real loud. I looked under and than checked tracks and looked it up here and now I know. So i grabbed side of seat top and pulled and sure enough the clunk. Stinks no good Jeep service dealer near me and dont want to take a day off to get to dealer and wife said she will not sit in the back.
Would of liked to set up with first oil change or something else that pops up on my 3 month old 2018 Moab.

I've been dealing with this fun problem also took.it to jeep and they replaced part of the seat frame but when I got it back it started doing it again just not a loud and now the dealer is telling me there is nothing more to do and basically I'm just going to have to deal with it PM'd @JeepCares hope they can help

Im in the Club as well now! Took the jeep to my dealer and tehy tried to tell me its normal jeeps are just noisy.....I said hell no Ive had three jeeps a 2009 JKU a 2012 JKUR and a 2018 JLUR and this is the only one this noise happens to. Also its not happening to the other seat so its not "normal". We shall see what they do if anything.
