I got a new Jeep Willys XR and when making turns in and out of the driveway which has a slight incline I get a very annoying and quite audible creak in the upper right hand corner that I cannot seem the figure out. The drivers side is quiet as a mouse. I took the freedom panel off to see if that was it and the sound was still there. I thought it might be the interior trim pieces but I held each one of those while my wife drove in and out and it’s not those. When I open the door and go back and forth in the drive way with it open the sound stop so it’s something with the pressure of the door closed. I realize Jeeps creak but this is pretty loud. It’s brand new so the seals are clean and supple but I did rub a little bit of silicone paste on the seals in that corner just to see and it didn’t change anything.
This may be petty and I get that except my drivers side doesn’t make so much as a whisper. Anyone have this experience or have any ideas on what I could do or check. I’m staring at it trying to figure out what I’m missing. I guess I could ask a dealer but seems like a simple thing. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

My wife's did that and the far right windshield bolt was loose. I'd make sure they are all tight.

I checked that and the window bolts were pretty tight. Idk if maybe the door seals just need to wear in a bit or not. Just weird how audible it is and when the door is open it makes no sound at all. So something to do with the door seals my guess or pressure on them when the door is latched.

Definitely check the hard top bolt, located (when passenger side freedom panel removed) in top of the frame close to the B pillar. I had it loose - I have the roof rack, so never needed to mess with that bolt), which also first started creaking and only when I got a water through that corner on a touch-less wash, it occurred to me to check that bolt... It was so loose that I could unscrew it with bare fingers... As soon as I tighten the bolt, both the creaking and the leaks disappeared...
Good luck, and let us know here if and how you fixed yours.
