Cracked Windshield Club

I have 4 cracks in my windshield and one star type crack. Alaska was hard on the Jeep.

Definitely not tailgating a gravel truck. The dang rock really looked like it was tossed down from a cloud. I guess it's more likely another vehicle launched it, though. It even chipped the paint!

I had a hit just like this, except no traffic, zero, I propose birds are dropping rocks on jeeps from above.

a little less than 5 months in and under 10k I got my first rock and well... yank my doodle its a dandy. fortunately its under the mopar warranty - the dealership says its no problem to replace.

I witnessed a rock being thrown forward off my jeep, after leaving a gravel road back onto blacktop. It then bounced up and onto hood, did no damage but dang...

I can see that happening but it would definitely require a series of unfortunate flukes. Worst of all is that you cant even scream at the other driver for doing it.

Just got my first one! Only 6500 miles on her. I normally am very careful to not follow trucks too closely, but sometimes it can’t be helped. I already got the claims process going since it’s free in Florida. I called Safelite to see if they had a choice in windshields. They told me I could get the one with the gorilla on it at no extra charge. Sounds like Gorilla glass. Will it fit a regular Sport model? I can’t imagine there’s much difference in fitment.
