I hope I don't get flamed for being a dope... I swear I saw some cowl cube lights the other day that had a daytime running light (DRL) accent on them (vertical I think, on the outside edge of the cube), but all my googling isn't fining anything. I must be searching wrong here and elsewhere. I can't even find any cube cowl lights with a DRL option.

Do any of you experts seen one or know a brand/model #?

<queue the quick finds and obvious answers that prove I'm an idiot>

Glad to have helped. Easy wiring especially if you have the AUX switches

I believe the Rigid ones have backlights if that's an acceptable alternative.

It is… I love everything about Rigid except the price! I sorta blew my wad on the Jeep cost itself, so the top-of-the-line aftermarket stuff is often out of reach, but I’ll give it a look… didn’t know about the backlights. Will have to figure out the wiring for that to use them as DRL.

thanks!

I do have Aux… researching now how to cut off the switch and wire it is to the DRL works. Hope I can figure that out. Will wire to Aux 3 as 4 is taken with the bumper light bar.

Sylvania Off Road cube lights have an accent light that can be wired as a driving light.

I bought these Rouch Country Cubes with DLR https://www.roughcountry.com/2-inch-led-square-lights-70903blkdrl.html and am having difficulty determining how to cut out the three way switch and run into my built in switches on my JL. Any insight or resources anyone?
If memory serves me correctly, when I called RC and they told me to cut the wire at the splitter thus eliminating the switch all together. That still leaves plenty of wire left to run them to AUX wires under the hood and connect the ground wire.

Jeep Wrangler JL Cowl Cube Light with DRL (Daytime Running Light) switch

Maybe I'm overthink this as is should be easy. My 3 way switch allows for LEDs, or DLR. I'm told from RC the blue wire is for the LEDs. Therefore, I believe the red wire feeds power into the switch. The white wires in turn feed power back to the lights for DLR, and the Blue feeds back to them for LEDs. So I assume I'll ground the black, run white to switch 3, and the blue to switch 4?
