I always thought that was they to test if you had one in or not as per everything I read... anyway you can point me to this info?
they way the LSD needs to see slippage before it can engage. typically its somewhere around 400rpm. i know for a fact the chevy LSD " or "locker" is 400 rpm on the money

Good to know.. that would definitely be cheaper than puttin electronic in the back as well
save the pennies and wait for one of the new 24 rear axles to come up for grabs. the new willys come full float in the rear with e locker.. i will bet you anything you catch one in a few months on the market place because someone will upgrade to UD60s

The Anti-spin on the Jeeps isn't a limited slip. It actually uses the rear brakes to transfer power back and forth. Kind of a weird system. It will grab the brake of the wheel slipping so power will transfer to the other side and so on. Same system they have on the Ram trucks.

That will be the BLD which every jeep has. Its part of the ABS system and Traction control system... the anti spin differential is in fact an lsd.. it has a clutch system. As per the resolution post i do have. both wheels will turn in the same direction when both wheels are off the ground. Transfer and transmission must be in neutral... in one of the previous post you will a an exploded view of the differential showing the clutch packs
