Hey all so I torqued down on the two bolts as instructed by the TSB but am still losing coolant. Then I saw this elbow running into the back of the engine. More coolant gathering. Can I just replace this elbow and does anyone know the part number or size ? I see them on Amazon but I don’t know what size each end is .

There is probably just an o-ring under there that isn't seated or went bad. Pull that bottom clip towards the front a bit with a screw driver, that elbow should lift right out and you can inspect it.

Thanks for the replies. Taking a look this weekend. I have an assortment of o rings. Assuming generic rubber will do ?

I hope this works because I’m losing a quart of coolant or more each week.

So , that t junction hose connector was cracked. I was able to pull out the broken peices and attach it back using a hose clamp. Had to order an entire new hose just to get a replacement connector :(

Hey did you end up only replacing the T junction? Or did you have to replace the hose and everything?

thank you! I realize it’s all one part, but was wondering if I could buy it all and only replace the T fitting? Looks like replacing the whole thing is kinda pointless and extra work. If you replaced the whole part was it Farley easy looks like there is barley any room to get a hand in there.

Hi,
I have this exact same problem on my 2019 JLU @ 61k miles!
Sounds like others have had this problem too. Just wanted to check in see if there's any updated information. Is the fix still to replace that whole hose ? or is there is a part# for just that broken T-junction ?
Has Jeep started to offer complimentary/warranty repair for this ?

Hello, I’m grateful I found this thread! 2019 JL, 2.0 Turbo same exact issue. I also just purchased the hose assembly. Thanks for the link! I was trying to identify the part number for a couple days. It is odd how the antifreeze almost calcifies. Mine looked like it burped out of that connection down to the trans and I wasn’t sure if it was a cooler line due to the appearance and viscosity of the red fluid.
yes, this appears to be common now and Jeep should do something about it.

You should look into replacing your primary coolant bottle while you're in there. They love to leak as well
