Every time I get a new BMW, I purchase off the Ebay a set of euro spec convex mirrors. The driver side has a split vertical line, separating two surfaces of different curvature, while the passenger side mirror is just a wide view, convex without any stupid warning etched in it. Both are heated and auto dimming and run about $300.
That's for the BMW OE part for the EU market.

Since Jeep sells in Europe, they should have similar mirrors over there, yet all I can find is Suma.

Is the Suma Performance mirror the only aIternative in the Jeepland? Sounds expensive for it being just a piece of convex glass. Is it really glass?

I found the Sumo mirrors weren't convex enough for me to see the blind spot on the driver side even with the mirror all the way out. I prefer convex so I just bought a 5-1/2 x 4 inch convex mirror off of Amazon and stuck it to the mirrors. The heating element won't work so we'll see if they will work through the winter or not. I then Plasti-dipped the rest of the mirror so I don't have weird angles from headlights at night. I'd take a pic but the Jeep is in the shop getting some work done right now. The Sumo mirrors are glass, at least the ones I bought a couple of years ago were.

@Suma Performance side view mirrors are terrific. All I know that purchased a set have told me they think the price was well worth it for the quality offering..

You could have adjusted them more out had you wanted to. I could have told you a simple way to do so if I had known you were having an issue getting the driver's side adjusted outward enough.

Stick on convex mirrors are laughable compared to Suma's... And .... they fog up in the cool weather and get snow on them... rendering them pretty much useless. Suma's have defroster..

I’d like to know how to adjust my driver side mirror farther out. Haven’t been able to to it, so if you have a trick, please share it. I have to rely on those Amazon mirrors currently.

I purchased these for towing my Aliner, they've worked well for towing.
I actually don't think they look bad and have been leaving them on all the time.
Do these show your blind spot well? My back doesn't allow me to twist much and my wife can't see out of her left eye so she needs some good mirrors that show the blind spot well.

I think the extension can be adjusted to the blind spot.
I don't really have a blind spot problem with oem mirrors, I adjust to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) recommendations.
Here is a Car & Driver article about the SAE specifications that they recommend.

It was hard to get used to not seeing the side of my vehicle at first, but now it is normal to me. Now when a car leaves the view in center mirror it comes in view of side mirror.

That's how I adjust mine as well but my driver side doesn't seem to go out far enough. Maybe I'll have to look at it further and see why not....

yeah, most people have their mirrors off. I recently had to drive a family members car and adjusted the mirror. She got in her vehicle and freaked out. Told me "she couldn't even see the side of the car". I explained that's how it should be, but she wouldn't believe me.

The challenge for old turds like me, is that when I learned to drive, I set the mirrors a bit too close to the rear of my vehicle. My son, who's 21, learned in drivers Ed to adjust the mirrors out (like the SAE spec above) - I can't do it. I loose perspective. Seeing a bit of my vehicle every time I look at the mirror gives me a reference point that is repeatable. My son learned to drive without that reference point. When he drives my cars, the mirrors are set so far out, even when he doesn't move the seat I can't imagine how he drives like that.....

I've been spoiled on years of driving full size trucks with towing mirrors (with built in convex mirrors) my last truck was a Silverado Dually, each mirror on that thing was about the size of the hood on my JLU.

On the drive home with my new JLU I almost clipped a car passing on drivers side. Went home, bought cheap-o stickums from the man with the big blue van, and been happy ever since.
