I too am on 35's with a proper calibration and a relatively flat highway commute, but trying to maintain speed into a headwind or climbing small inclines causes a drop to 7th to avoid engine lugging. Having more available gear ratios along the same spread, will result in an increased number of shift events. It's working as designed, so no need for concern.Did it even on stock tires and suspension.
Was constant just driving on a level highway to work against head winds and just maintaining speed.
That cant be good for the transmission, gears, engine
One of my prior vehicles had a 4 speed automatic. Putting along in between speed bumps in a parking lot, it would only upshift to 2nd when I let off the throttle. The JL automatic gets up to 3rd, sometimes 4th, in the same parking lot at the same speed.
