Hello All,
I thought I would share what I am calling "Console Saddle Bags" for my JL.
I had the hard plastic holder that fits over the center console but it has little space and gets in the way when the seat needs to slide forward to get into the rear seat of my 2 door.
I put this design together working with my wife, who deserves all the credit for making the bags for me.
The Looney Tunes interior was her idea, I really enjoy those old cartoons, but I asked her to keep the exterior bland so as to not make them catchy to the eye if the JL is stripped of doors.
The size difference in the bags is intentional, I wanted to make sure the drivers side would not be a problem when driving. There are magnetic clips on the flaps to keep them close if needed.
The exterior is waxed canvas so it has a strong level of water resistance.
