I'm Colorado for the next 7 days. Planning to drive the entire state. Camp/hotel/cabins.

Any suggestions on trails would be appreciated. Anywhere in the state.

Have a stock 22 Willys. Rubicon take off tires.

Not looking for anything too technical. Views and some fun trails mainly.

Got to Denver last night. Doing a quick hike at St Marys Glacier. Have a 2 day cabin in Cotopaxi starting tonight.

Will do Kebler Pass sometime this week for the Aspens. Outside of that we are open.

Thanks again.

Red Cone Pass is one of my favorites.
I'd anticipate a fair amount of rub in stock rig.

If scenery is what you want cinnamon and engineer passes make the Alpine loop. I also enjoyed California gultch

If it hasn't already snow will be coming so some trails could get closed.

If you’re going to be in Cotopaxi, the collegiate peaks aren’t too far north of you. There’s a lot of trails and beautiful scenery in that area.

If you have the chance do Leavenworth Creek Road (AKA McClellan Mountain) The view at the top is awesome and should not be missed

Wheeler Lake is very pretty and it's a fun trail.

Bill Moore Lake is easy and there's a nice little lake at the end. If you want to make a day of it you can go up Red Elephant Hill (fun trail) to Mill Creek (has an old cabin on it) then take Bill Moore up to the lake then follow Bill Moore back out down to the town of Empire.

Consider subscribing to Trails Off Road, then download Colorado. It focuses on the better trails and walks you through them with its follow mode. It also makes it extremely easy to find the trailhead.

Make sure and take the one way road (Old Fall River Rd) from Estes Park to the back side of Rock Mountain National Park. Seen a ton of critters on that. Can only be accessed from the Estes Park side. Also worth noting you have to get a day pass online the morning off or you're not getting in the park. There are some cool back roads with switch backs leaving Boulder headed over to Mount Evans.

Or better yet, download the free trial of OnX Offroad app. You should be able to use it long enough to find some cool places. We use that to plan each day, you'll be amazed how many off road trails there are. All of them are ranked per difficulty. Have fun!
