Hey guys,

For some reason my auto start does not work from the front door of where I just moved to. (Definitely within range). I can't figure out why.

I am wondering if anyone figured out a way for the Uconnect app to start the JL as if it were started with the cold weather option. Basically I can start it so the engine is warming up but it isn't blasting hot air/heated Everything like it does when using the fob

Thanks!

@Kalanimal

Have you tried with each of your 2 fobs ?

Consider changing the battery in the Fob. Could be an issue related to a depleted battery.
Key Fob battery: CR2450

I've remote started several times via fob and app, both activate the hot stuff the same way. Remember it only does that if the outdoor temp is below 38 (or somewhere around there).

I don't have access to my 2nd fob right now. The remote start works no problem in a parking lot/anywhere else besides my new place.

Interesting. I'll try thru the app tonight and see if the cold weather options turn on. Thanks!

You can go in uconnect and turn off all the cold weather stuff, and turn it back on when it turns really cold.

Hold key fob touching chin to see if that helps ... turns body into antenna. There might be some weird interference thing going on.

What I notice on mine a couple times was that it didn’t start if the battery was low, I have a fridge and I hadn’t start the car in days.
