Hi 1478mxm,This morning I took the Jeep into the Dealer for an oil change and tire rotation. Thirty minutes later the service rep comes out and says the Jeep is not safe to drive due to a burning smell suspected to be the clutch. I have never had any smell of burning anything. They provide a rental and I go to the Jeep to grab some stuff and it smelled like the Jeep had been on fire. Never had any issue like that prior to dropping it off. They think it is the clutch and are doing further inspections. This thread is the closest example of my situation I can find. Jeep has 5372 miles on it and this is my third stick shift Jeep. Iāll let you know how it goes.
We are sorry to hear that you are having this experience! We are available via private message if you would like any additional assistance while your Jeep is at the dealership.
