I just got my 2021 JLUR back from having an ACT clutch installed. I am now getting a P083F "clutch pedal switch a/b correlation" trouble code. Is there a relearning procedure that needs to be run now that the pedal engages lower than the stock clutch? The error code is disabling ESS, hill assist and cruise control.

I’m having the same issue after I installed the ACT clutch on my ā€˜21 JT. It didn’t happen immediately. It seems to have happened after the clutch broke in and I got a consistent bite point in what feels like the right location in pedal travel (mid way). Initially it was biting right off the floor.
Did you ever figure it out? It seems like a relearn is needed. I don’t see an option in Jscan to do it though.

There is a relearn procedure but I didn't keep the jeep long enough to try. See this thread for more info. I had the ACT clutch installed by a jeep shop and I didn't like the feel of the clutch. I know I'm in the minority but it just wasn't for me. I eventually traded the MT for a JLUR with an AT.

Thanks. I did find and read that thread first. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a function in jscan or tazer to relearn just that bite point. Apparently if you do a clutch EEPROM reset it might reset that and make it learn again but I don't have the latest software on my PCM so that function doesn't work. I also have no plans to do the 19A recall to update that PCM software and ruin the truck.

For those that may come across this in the future, I did end up testing my clutch interlock switch and found it wasn't always closing when the pedal was up against the stop. If you stand on the pedal and really push it, it would close and the truck would start and as long as you did that every gear change the error codes wouldn't return. I replaced my clutch interlock switch, which is really easy to do, and the jeep now functions normally again.

I've had an ACT installed for about 18,000 miles now. Bite is low and always has been. In the last 2 months I've noticed the thing won't start unless the clutch pedal is mashed hard to the floor. Typically takes 2-3 attempts. More recently, last week, I found stored code P083F. Like yourself I never had 19A software done and don't want to.

I see that the clutch interlock switch resolved your issue and just curious if that's still the case or whether the issue has re-appeared for you? My reason for asking is I've come across one or two other threads that mention another part as the possible culprit (the clutch position sensor) - this part has a super involved replacement procedure as you have to pull the entire dash apart, so I'm hoping this is not the issue.

Thank you! Going to order one and replace it. If nothing else, it's an easy enough job and something I can rule out... should it not resolve the issue.
