My 2018 manual is only starting when I mash the clutch to the floor. I ordered a replacement clutch sensor. The space up in there by the clutch pedal is very tight. Has anyone had experience installing a new sensor? Does the entire clutch assembly need to be removed to access it? I’ve attached a photo of the part. Thanks!

There are two cluch sensors, I had to replace the one in the engine compartment. It is clipped to the master cylinder. If you have Scan tool you can see which sensor is not making the start circuit before tackling that sensor. I read up on the sensor on the pedal, it is a PITA to get to, you have to disassemble a good chunk of the dash to get to it, thankfully I never had to do that.

My issue turned out to be a bad master cylinder, the sensor was fine.

EDIT - the sensor is part WVE 1s15838 https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=12597869&cc=3353585&pt=16665
