I just replaced the aux and main battery in my Gladiator due to the main battery finally dying and the aux was probably bad for a while as the start/stop function stopped working. Now after replacing, the climate control bank of switches does not work at all and the start/stop panel is still acting like it is not getting any power. I pulled the cables from the battery overnight and reinstalled this morning with the same issues still happening. I have driven the jeep for 15-20 minutes and the climate controls stay unresponsive. I checked the fuses/relays and all appear to be in place and working.

I dunno man. Kinda sounds like you didn’t get one of the PDC connections re-seated properly?

As an alternative unrelated thing to check, a couple of my climate control switches seem to physically stick in the “depressed” position, and when one of the switches is stuck, none of the other switches works. That would be unrelated, but something you just noticed after battery replacement?

Fina, thought, I clicked through on the “similar thread”below and someone had the same problem before that self cured overnight 24 hours after the battery disconnect. So maybe wait and see till tomorrow before trying anything else

I just went through and disconnected the fuse panel and plugs to reconnect. No change.

After some more driving, the heat has started on the footwell but the controls have no response. It is neither set on heat or feet.

We have the same issue every year when we park our Jeep for the winter. I disconnect both batteries from the vehicle. Takes sometimes between 24hrs and 36hrs before everything is back to normal. Don't worry as long as everything is connected and hooked up right it should come back after staying connected for a period of time.

That would be particularly nice if you lived in frigid weather. How ridiculous

After 3 day I took it to the dealership. They think the control panel is “fried”

I had the same thing happen. I went back and removed the PDC/fuse box to find that I bent 2 or 3 pins. I straightened them out with a pair of needle nose pliers, the carefully reassembled, and it was all good.

I have been trouble shooting this the only way I know how. I have replaced the climate control panel and now the control box under the dash with no changes.

None of the control panel lights up with the lights on
The only button that works is the hazard button
