Check Engine/Traction Control Lights On

I drove to work this morning and when I pulled into the parking lot I noticed the check engine light and traction control lights were on. I did hit the curb a bit and meant to go into reverse to back up a bit but it backed up a hair in neutral which is when I noticed the lights. Not sure if that’s relevant.
Ran an errand at 930am and noticed only the check engine light on. I left for lunch at 1130am and tried fixing my gas cap before leaving because that seemed like an easy fix if that was the issue. Both lights were off when I turned it on and started driving, after a bit both lights came back on again. I am going over to a friends house as he has an error checker after work and also made an appointment at the dealership tomorrow morning. Just wanted to see if anyone had any insight into the issue?

Neither of these will cause the engine light to come on.

If you have a lot of codes, it could be the green canbus connection block behind the glove box. It seems to be a common issue.

$13 and 10 minutes to replace.

I've had an issue with my check engine light coming on. I have the 4Cyl Turbo, and each time it was the evap system. First few times I took it in and they replaced and cleaned solenoids, the last time I took it in they couldn't get their system to tell them what it was. Weird. I have the FIXD device and app and it's let me clear the error without spending $130 to find nothing.

I had many of those same codes before I replaced the green canbus connector. Seriously, it is so easy to replace and only $13 on ebay.

1. Drop the glove box down.
2. Slide the old block out (can't remember if you slide to the left or right to get it out but you'll be able to figure that out by looking at the new one).
3. I moved the connectors one at a time from the old to the new using a 90-degree pick to push in the locking tab and gently pry out.
4. Slide new block in place.
5. Close the glove box.
6. Drive without worry.

I have a 21 2.0 4xe has had a evap check engine light for two months. My dealer told me they have to replace a piece at a time till they find it. They also told me don’t have support from the factory to fix this. So I pickup my new Sahara with 3.6. Tomorrow Hopefully this is better
