    I believe they fixed that.
  2. Jumperless Aux Battery Bypass

What codes did you get? Shortly after the cold weather arrived, I've been getting P0303 (misfire cylinder 3) & P0203 (injector circuit cylinder 3). I wonder if my main battery is weak. My aux has been out of the loop for maybe a year.
  3. QTDDTOT: Questions that don't deserve their own thread

My guess would be a duck post to keep ducks from sliding on the dash.
  4. 🔋🔧 MAIN BATTERY REPLACEMENT TALK - JL/JT 🪫

If you switch to "Online and ship to you" on Costco's web site, the price goes up $50. I didn't follow thru the checkout process to see if they also add shipping charges to that which might bring it up to Amazon's Prime free-shipping price.
  5. I ran a tank of premium

When my 2010 Camaro V6 was fairly new, I read this debate on the Camaro forums. I decided to try all 3 grades to see which was best. I had a 42.5 mile drive to work. That was my test route. I would run a tank on one grade, then on the next fill-up of the same grade, I would drive to work trying...
  6. 2020 Wrangler Rubicon - electrical problems

Yeah, I visually inspected my old one and could not see anything wrong with it, but we've gone 9 months and 10k miles without the issue reappearing.
  7. 2020 Wrangler Rubicon - electrical problems

A lot of those symptoms match the problem I had and replacing the green canbus connection block behind the glove box solved things for me (as well as for lots of others on this forum).
  8. Cheap Jeep Hacks! Show 'Em Off Here!

That's why I don't use them anymore. Had 1 on my wife's Mazda Protege about 20 years ago. She was on a 2 lane road behind someone turning left. Asphalt was higher than the shoulder that my wife decided to use to go around the other car. Fortunately, she was only a half mile from her parents'...
  9. 2018 JLUR significant electrical issues

It slides out - left or right, I don't remember which. Look at the bottom side of the replacement and you'll see the 2 clips and be able to determine which way it slides out. No need to remove any bracket.
  10. 2018 JLUR significant electrical issues

Replace the green canbus block behind the glove box. $13 on ebay and 10 minutes to replace.

This is the one I bought to solve my issues: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225158191142 PN: 2-2272352-5
  13. Electrical issues

Either it is a low-quality part or it is mounted in a poor location (or a combination of both). During the winter with the heater in use, that area builds up quite a bit of heat which isn't good for electronics. The other day, we had the top down, AC not running and my wife opened the glove box...
  14. JL Wrangler all the lights and wipers go nuts

Another cause for all the dash lights and loss of power steering is the green can-bus block behind the glove box. I had issues multiple times each day and after replacing the green can-bus block - over 6,000 miles ago - I haven't had a single issue. $13 on ebay for 2 blocks & 10 minutes to...
  15. My tailgate ONLY locks and unlocks manually

I did this a few days ago. It was much easier than I thought it would be.
  16. electrical issues, dtc codes lost powering steering, stuck on acc mode

I have put precisely 5,913 miles on it since replacing the green block and have had zero issues. I know the precise mileage because I just finished an oil change and I document the mileage whenever I do anything. :)
  17. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and replaced the latch on the tailgate. Now, no more manually locking/unlocking the tailgate.
  18. electrical issues, dtc codes lost powering steering, stuck on acc mode

I had issues until I replaced the green can bus block. When I examined the old one, I could not see any corrosion or damage to it. It still could be the culprit in your case. $13 on ebay and 10 minutes to replace. It's worth trying.
  19. Aftermarket exhaust to get more aggressive sound without drone?

I have one on my 2010 Camaro (SOLO) and love it. Nice tone with zero drone.
  20. 3.6 Carbon Buildup on heads just under 90k miles

Isn't it a direct-injected engine? Does running it hard work to clear carbon build-up on DI engines? Or fuel system cleaners for that matter?
