I think it’s a different size. I like what they did with the JL button. It’s a different rubbery material that also feels substantial when you press it. That button is made of plastic material and feels more flimsy. (My last vehicle was a 15 charger).

A few weeks back, I thought about swapping mine for a red or silver one, but after taking delivery of the Rubi and I actually touched it, I decided it was fine. My initial thought was that maybe the JL start button was rubbery and sealed from the weather better than if I swapped a different one in, so I have left it alone. I will take a closer look again in the daylight because I haven't really thought about it since the night of the delivery.

Re-opening an old thread. Some more pics of a red mopar button vs the JL button. The JL button looks smaller but the actual switch looks to be the same size. Anyone know how to pop the switch out to check the connectors?

Bringing this back from the dead - the switch is part of the HVAC panel which just pops off.
