Interesting, possibly a correlation...

Seems like in the other thread there are multiple colors also, but all seem like 2019s, all built probably around the same time period. Probably still a bad batch of consoles, probably missing a retaining clip or washer, Which means they are lighter/faster/better mpg

I am unsure of the actual build date, I know the projected ship date was 11/25, and it got to my dealer in Eastern Pennsylvania on 11/30, so our build dates should be very close, if not the same.

Your actual build date and time ... as well as other info, is found on the driver's door jam of your JL.

So just brought my Jeep to the dealer for the latch. ( It's mangled ) They ordered the part and stated it could take up to a month to come in. How can it take so long???? @JeepCares

Mine broke the day after I took it home from the dealer. Picked up on 1/25, back to the dealer on 1/28 (Monday) for them to look at and order the new console top. The part came in the following Monday. My build date is 12/18

Also just had this happen. 2019 Ocean Blue Sahara 2.0T. I've maybe used the thing 10 times, just passed 1k miles. Custom order built in late October 2018.

Glad to see that it isn't just my beefy hands.

2019 JKUR with a December build date. Mine came broken from the factory for the most part. I noticed it during my initial test drive. They fixed it about a week later once the part came in. The have to replace the whole armrest, which to me is a bad design from the beginning.

This just happened to me earlier today. I bought my 2019 Sahara about two weeks ago! (not sure about build date) I am taking it to the dealer to have it fixed.

Noticed mine was popped out after 1000 mi and have ever so gently popped it back in... mainly because I am having other more pressing issues.

After the second time mine did that I put a little bit of Sugru on it so the big pin can't slide out. It works I guess, hasn't fallen apart since. Could maybe use some silicon...

My teacher wife showed me the awesome Sugru it is now in all the vehicles and tool boxes bug out bag etc..

Happened to mine 30 days after i got it. Went to the dealer for repairs been 6 weeks since they ordered replacement part, still not in. Dealer stating 4 more weeks.
What the Crap!!!!
