Quick look on amazon for “console covers JL “ shows black one for with paw print. I’m sure there are others out there already.

Do you have a direct link to the JL console covers? I searched Amazon for 'console covers JL' and they all have the key hole cover in the wrong spot - the center. The JL console cover lock is offset toward the passenger side. The JK console cover is centered. The one with the paw print on Amazon says JK and JL, but it has the hole in the wrong spot.

Buggers... I checked the ones I found that said JL compatible all do have center openings. Sorry, if I run across one, I’ll send you a link.

I took a chance and ordered the console cover for the JK at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M164B25 since it was only $8.99. It fits on my JL, and as known, the hole for the key doesn't line up, but the hole has elastic and will stretch just enough to put the key in. So it works for now until they make one with the hole off to the side. It was tough to put on, but that keeps it from coming off. Just put the console top in the upright position first, bend and insert the back edge of the cover into the space between the A/C cover and the console cover. Then drop both front seats as far back as you can so you can get your hands around the cover to pull it over the side and front edges carefully to not pull it out from the back. It was harder to put on than the steering wheel cover - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GLMEK60 which fits perfect and was only $15.99.

I might go this route for now as well. Arm rest gets very hot with not top. Sun shade arrives tomorrow but arm rest will still get hot. I contacted Bartact and the JL arm rest covers are a couple months out. I’ll be getting one of those, loved it in my previous JK.

When you say bartact arm rest cover, are you referring to the door arm rests or the center console as an arm rest?

I got a $9 amazon neoprene cover as well. Does a great job for the price. I don’t use the keyhole anyway and honestly, didn’t know my console had a lock until reading this.

Any updates on these? There seems to be a ton of “JL” ones now. Anyone have any good reviews on some?

I like... stays in place, no interference, arm doesn't slide around. If the inside adhesive wears out, it can be easily replaced.

How do the ones w side pockets do when you open the lid? Do the pockets want to fall in the way of closing it?
