I just pulled the weathertech cargo liner out of mine, gives great coverage but curls up at the back due to storage bags on the tailgate table. Cut down a Mopar one for a 4 door (trimmed the back seat cover pieces off), less coverage but no curling.

I will add that I’m keeping the weathertech mat and will try to figure out a way to add some anchor buttons, similar to the ones for the Mopar floor mats, for it.

I have had my weathertech mat for about 6 months now and it has never uncurled at the back (tailgate) corners. Very thin material compared to other weathertech products I have purchased over the years. I would not buy it again. I keep weighting down the corners, but as soon as I remove the weighting, the corners lift up again. Not weathertech's best product.

Ive been a weathertech customer since 2008. Have their digital liners and trunkmats in all cars we have purchased since then. The older mats seem to be better quality than the newer items.

They really annoyed me last fall when i called the company to see when the hp mats would be available for the rear of our 4xe. She assured me it would be soon and offered free shipping on the rear set if we bought the front hp set right then. I did and waited until this summer before giving up and buying the regular liners.

i have since ordered another wrangler and for the first time in 15 years im shopping other options besides weathertech.

I have the Rugged Ridge 2dr cargo liner. I've had my friend's German Shepard mix ride in the back maybe 2 times and I'm still picking dog hair out of the carpet/seats.

I usually end up using an electric leaf blower to get most of the hair out and then the backside of some gaff tape to collect the rest.

The cargo liner itself has held up pretty well though.

Weathertech Liner, moving blanket and a big lint roller. Also an automotive rubber pet hair removal brush if they have a short coat.

I am very happy with the 3D Maxpider mats. I've had OEM mats as well as WT's and have been disappointed with the quality and value. A great feature of these mats is that they don't slide around. They have a sort of hook/loop on the bottom surface that grips the carpet in the bed of the Wrangler.

Whatever you get, make sure its washable or cheaply replaceable. I get in lots of Subarus with these liners and the car stinks to high heaven as I think they put them in and leave it. I'm a dog owner but it can get pretty rank.

Also, I see many cabin filters (especially the prefilters) get plugged up with dog hair and thus create AC issues. Check them often.

I used to have a German Shedder as well. Great and loyal dog, but DAMN she was a hair factory! And not like Malamutes or Huskies, who mostly just have a twice-a-year big blow, with only minor shedding in between. No, she was pumping out the loose hair 365 days a year.

One winter and spring I got so sick of all the loose hair everywhere (and I do mean everywhere!) that I brushed her, nose to tail, three times a day for about four months, thinking that I could pull off most of it before it got shed all over. WRONG! I think by doing that, I was actually just triggering her body to produce even MORE loose hair! I had several 40 gallon garbage bags packed full of brushed-off loose hair by the end of that experiment. I gave up.

i have Canvasback liners in my Jeep and 4Runner. Protects the carpet and also has traction so my dog doesn’t slide around in the back.

I did the harbor freight blanket for a bit and while it helps it's far from doing anything close to eliminating the hair getting under and woven into the carpet fibers.
I eventually just splurged bought the canvasback with side cover additions. This is hands down the best QOL investment i've made for the jeep. There are still the random hairs that find their way down but vacuuming the rear now takes maybe 10min tops with me being fairly meticulous.

I didn't use them the last time.I ran the ends of the tube into the metal tie downs. It works for me.It's not exactly easy to thread the tube into the liner. It's a really tight fit.
