I have seen some good looking pictures of folks who have painted their calipers. Can someone who has done this recommend a good paint.

DUPLI-COLOR makes an AEROSOL SPRAY, or a complete CALIPER KIT, that cleans/degreases/primes and you get a pint of your color/w brush/mixer and masking tape, along with an instruction booklet--ya can't go wrong--

The cost at O'REILLY'S AUTO-IS ABOUT $23 BUCKS-PEP'S carries it also

With the kit you can do the CALIPERS--in place !

I used G2, which was the most highly recommended for long-term durability that I could find. It is brush on, so there is no overspray risk, and it dries smooth and glossy. I am very happy with how it turned out.

I haven't thought to use it on Jeeps or trucks, but Caliper Paint is a really fun customization.

I did the same thing as Mall R8D a couple years ago and did the brush-on G2 paints to my girlfriend's Mazda. They take a few coats, but are amazing. Impervious to cleaning chemicals, smooth and easy to clean brake dust off of, and bright as the day i painted them. The color stands out VERY well, and people think i have aftermarket calipers all the time.

I put the whole car on jack stands and did all 4 calipers at once. Going from caliper to caliper gave me time to let one coat dry before putting on another. Any part of the caliper that could be removed ( axle side bracket ) was done on a bench, and the main caliper was hung with Caliper Hangers

G2 is the best, I used it on Camaro’s brembo and had zero issues.

Were you able to finish with one kit?

I've done both my jeeps with one kit and I still have enough to do my RAM--when I rotate tires !

Old photo, but you get the point for a visual.

Painted the rotor hats, looks so much better. Still not completely sold on this caliper color but just didn't feel like going red. I would probably have to change the red willy on the rubi rims too.
