My 392 rear brake caliper has seized again, only 4k miles. The dealer replaced the rotor, the caliper, and pads due to the rear passenger side holding pinched against the rotor. 200 miles later (only 200 miles) the same thing happened again. Any ideas why? Thanks

I do, however the 200 miles between calipers was only around town, to and from dealer twice and two months sitting in the garage without driving.

hmmmm, did they double triple check the anti lock section of the brake system. I doubt a bad line if it checks out ok after they replace stuff. The anitskid however might be something going bad if one locks up.

I had my front caliper sticking on my 2018 JL Rubicon with 100k miles on it. After taking it to them to replace the driver's front caliper, I drove it to St. Louis and had sticking issues again. I replaced the passenger's front caliper. On the way home, I had the driver's front stick again. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced both front brake lines and the master cylinder. So far (only a few hundred miles), knock on wood, I haven't had the problem return.

Replace the hose, it's probably defective creating a check valve holding pressure.

True test is press brake, if it's sticking, open the bleeder. If it let's go it's the hose. If it still holding its the caliper.

I bet you just got a bad hose from the factory - easy fix.

Anytime a caliper seizes, you replace the soft brake like at the same time.

Dealership tech screwed this one up.

If the inside of the soft portion becomes damaged, a flap of material or other obstruction can act like a check valve and cause the caliper to fail to release, drag, overheat etc.

Dealer replaced both rear calipers and rotors, says the break lines are good. Rear passenger rotor still runs 200 degrees hotter than the other three. They don't know what to do. Any other suggestions?
