I'm sure everyone has been in this scenario: when a simple project that shouldn't take more than 2 hours turns into a 3+ day ordeal.

I'm replacing the brakes and rotors on my 2018 JLU Sport/S, and I've had nothing but headaches.
1. Brake pad clips that were included with the pads do not fit the bracket. (Trip 1)
2. Slide Pin seized. (Trip 2)
3. Slide Pin REALLY seized, new bracket. (Trip 3)
4. New bracket is not the same size (Trip 4)
5. Have to go to the dealership to get a new bracket (Trip 5).

Haven't even started on the driver's side.

Has anyone had issues finding the correct caliper bracket? AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance, Napa, etc., all have the incorrect bracket that pulls up in their system.
I have Mopar Part 68384497 AA that is flush with the bracket. Everything that they offer has an extension from the bracket for the slide pins, Mopar part 68383242AA.

Has anyone had issues finding this caliper bracket? It should have cost me only 40-50 bucks, dealer charges double.

I remember reading they changed the design of the caliper/rotor mount sometime after 2020, which may be the difference. The part number you need might be a dealer only item, if they can even find it. I'd send you mine but they're seized as well. We just upgraded to the heavy-duty front brakes on my wife's JLU Sport S. Between the seized pin and collapsed hose which is on backorder with no ETA the only way to get it back on the road was to change everything to stuff that was available.
