Yeah, gets put into a container and boat. I left an apple AirTag in it to “monitor” the progress. It should take a couple of months to get there. If anything were to happen to it, it’s covered by my employer. So, how does this work? They load it on a boat and you see it in a few months? Always been curious about it because most people will either sell or leave their vehicle here if relocating overseas.
Freaks me out a bit thinking about the Boat that just caught on fire and sank with a bunch ofcars from VW/ Audi/Lamborghini plus a bunch of other collector cars, supposedly.
Good luck. Stay safe.
I guess we will find out, lol. It does get super hot there, it’s already 90 degrees.I may be naive, but a black car in that part of the world could get pretty hot. Will you have covered parking?
You could always have a local paint the roof white.I guess we will find out, lol. It does get super hot there, it’s already 90 degrees.
Super hot doesn’t even begin to describe it. During my short two day stays waiting to catch a flight into another country it was like 90 at night. That being said it felt like 40 at night do to the temp swings.I guess we will find out, lol. It does get super hot there, it’s already 90 degrees.
We get to those temps in Las Vegas too. And it is a degree or two hotter in Phoenix.Super hot doesn’t even begin to describe it. During my short two day stays waiting to catch a flight into another country it was like 90 at night. That being said it felt like 40 at night do to the temp swings.
I spent a lot of time in Vegas while I was stationed at FT Irwin. While I thought I had already felt the heat that comes out of the devil’s butt while farting, Kuwait heat was different. I would say it was the devil’s fart after some of that hot sauce you sign a waiver for.We get to those temps in Las Vegas too. And it is a degree or two hotter in Phoenix.
Yeah, it’s a dry country and very conservative. I am single too but in the bright side, being a fed has its perk ? we can buy liquor, pork, etc. At the military commissaries and such. Apparently we become very popular and make a lot of friends due to these perks.I read alcohol is pretty much illegal everywhere in Kuwait except private clubs and your dwelling. Getting it to your dwelling sounded sketchy. Sex is illegal outside of marriage. Sounds like a "no fun zone" to me.
I had a friend that worked in Jedda for TWA decades ago. He flew to the UK every weekend. He said the extended royals did too. The women would board the planes in burkas and have their cocktail dresses and high heels underneath.

A company I occasionally contract with just paid one $500 for a couple hours worth of work… Driving a F350 and pulling 600 gallons of Jet-A.They need any truck drivers? With hazmat tanker experience? Lol.
Almost none of that would be a dealbreaker for me… But no ”professional“ companionship, well I too would be taking some regularly scheduled weekend trips…I read alcohol is pretty much illegal everywhere in Kuwait except private clubs and your dwelling.
