what was the cost to ship? who did you use?

I got a better price from Peterson in ID but living in MA seems like it wont make sense to spend the $$ to ship
Don’t remember the cost to ship, it was part of the deal and still better than what I was seeing locally. Used Hibbing Chrysler Dodge Jeep, worked with the sales manager, LMK if you want his info.

The owner’s manual describes an engine break in period for first 300 miles. Did anyone purchasing out of town drive the vehicle accordingly on their way home?

Yes, we purchased our '22 JL from Gupton and live about 250 miles away. My wife drove hers back, following me (in my '18 JLU). I planned a back roads route (avoiding all interstates) and took state routes all the way home. This allowed us to travel slower without causing a menace to traffic. We also stopped in an out of the way town and found a delightful restaurant. http://www.thesteelcoop.com/

The local dealer has to honor the warranty, but doesn't' have to give you preferential treatment. I've lived it, so believe me, it happens. He also won't be going to bat for you if Jeep doesn't want to cover something. My local dealer is a total crook, so I go an hour, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.

I bought mine from Criswell in Thurmont, MD it’s about 4 1/2 hours from home.
why?
we actually built the Jeep we wanted on Jeep"s website. Had it search for a dealer that had an exact match. They were it.
Also, they had no market adjustment, sent back the extra money they had charged to transfer my plates and title it in Pennsylvania. They did as a service for Pennsylvania customers. I just got a check for $148 that was leftover money Yesterday from Criswell. The charge was an estimated and they promised to mail me the leftover. They did.
we were very happy to do everything by phone, text and email.
even signed the contract by email. Drove down on a Saturday and picked it up all ready to go. We spent about an hour at the dealer.

As to the warrant, I’ll never go to my local Jeep dealer for anything.

Went to the local guy and he nothing but $60,000 + Jeeps.
the Sahara he had was $60,000 4xE, I didn’t want the 4 xE.
isnt worth $60,000
I just wanted a Sahara with the V6 and a hard top.

He had a leftover 2021 and would not even deal it. I paid less for the 2022 I bought.
