stock S shocks 15.6" and 16.88" minimum length. So if you're not changing anything else that could limit travel, like a steering stabilizer relocation, then shock compression or tire/fender will be what limits your uptravel and bumpstops.
So nothing replaces real world testing, but you might be close to minimum because your shocks are a few inches longer than stock.
Those Ranchos have short travel, which is fine, but comparatively you could ride some other shocks which are about as long extended, but compress to a shorter length and you could reduce your bumpstop.
the Zone shocks that came with the kit that I replaced with the Ranchos have a bit more travel than the Ranchos which makes me think the bump stops that come with that kit are completely off.

15.65 collapsed and 26.20 extended on the fronts. I might go back to them just to see how it feels once I get smaller bump stops.

1in bumpstop extension would be ok with those shocks if not doing any fast speed stuff that could compress the rubber bumpstop all the way. 2in bumpstop to be safe. Very little travel on those shocks I agree.
2" front and rear should work?

So what's the compressed length of your shocks?

18 inches front, 19 inches rear?

I am thinking 2'' front and rear. But then there's the issue with rubbing sport fenders, which might require you to do 3inches.

The way you have it right now doesn't look horrendous and it is fine for normal driving and rock crawling. But you don't need that much bumpstop. You don't have to go all the way down to the compressed length of an OEM rubi shock. I used to run bilstein 5100s with compressed length of 17inches without any bumpstop and it was perfectly fine. I wasnt jumping the jeep or doing anything nuts.

Here are some pictures for reference. My jeep measures about 1.5inches higher than oem rubicon. I am running a spacer lift on rubicon springs. I have 1inch bump extensions front and rear to keep oem spring compression due to spacers. I currently have close to 4inches up front uptravel before I hit the rubber and 3inches rear. I am setup to run 35s with rubi fenders.

Shocks are Bilstein 5100s 2-3inch lift.

Some good suggestions above from @entropy basically making sure you have the correct bump stop spacer for the compressed length of your shocks. Some more shock nerd tech here about this

Aside from up travel numbers, could just be the shocks are not that great and not up to your standards. Cheap shocks usually = cheap performance
