Bullet proof bolt on sliders

Bought material yesterday, building bolt on super bullet proof rock sliders that will also serve as the foundation for complete belly pan.
3/8" steel angle bolted to frame rails to all factory lugs in frame. Slider/steps will bolt to tapped holes in angle and belly pan will bolt to bottom flange of angle. Pictures to follow thru the days progress.

First rail bolted up for fitment. Bolt heads will end up being flush when bellypan is complete. Moving to other side then each side will get 4 bolts to frame as well. Side step/slider mounts will bolt right to this new rail as well.

Nice. My only worry is water and mud getting lodged between Angle Iron and frame.

Thot about this. When everything is 100% done I'm going to put some bed liner material on the angles and frame and drill a couple drain holes just for that reason. Good eye tho!

First of three coats of Herculiner. Will have stainless removable skins on underside.

Slider / steps installed. Still need to add replaceable stainless panels along bottom but you get the idea
