What are some good quality bull bars for the oem steel bumper? Please feel free to post pics of your build if you are using one for inspiration.

*Only criteria is it doesn't stick out past the front bumper*

Warn low and mid bar.
Maximus-3 has some cool options.
I like the RockHard bar.

Mopar standard/short, Mopar triple hoop, Grimm Offroad, American Trail Products and JCR Offroad are the ones I was looking at (in addition to the Warn low and Maximus-3 SLP and XLP).

Ultimately went the Mopar triple. Posted some pictures here and even though the one pic looks like it extends forward of the bumper, I'm pretty sure it's just the angle..

Or no bull bar? I had RockHard4x4 delete their bull bar for my build. It made room for LP4s to be mounted lower and thus not blocking the view of the front trail cam.

I vote for this.
99.9999999% of Jeeps around here have one.
Be a rebel. ?

And besides... if I hit a bull, I think my problems might not be covered by a bar (at least that kind).

Once I found Maximus-3, I couldn't go with anything else. I personally find their use of 2.5" tubing to be more proportionate to the JL overall. Everyone else uses 2" tubing. I ended up with the SLP bull bar. It is designed to be reversible, either leaned slightly rearward or at a higher degree of leaned forward. I chose the latter. Also, this particular bar had the option of adding frame reinforcement brackets that go between the frame and lower edge of the bumper directly below where the bar sits.

Had an ARB stubby for 8 years, I'll go the same direction with the JL most likely.
