The ID of the adapter is 9.5. The Fosgate subs are over 10. I cannot seem to find a bolt circle on the Kicker.

How long has that been out? Only issue that I see is that it the sub requires 0.59 cu ft in a sealed enclosure and the factory enclosure is only 0.35 cu ft. I am about to send an email to them regarding this.

But you could use that trim ring with a 10tw1 JL audio sub. It's the one that comes with their Stealthbox and only needs 0.35 cubic feet.
you can stuff the box with polyfill and that will help with the cubic foot air requirement.

So I sent a note asking Kicker what their bolt circle was on the 48CWRT10 and it is only 9.88 inches. The 10TW1 is 9.7. At an ID of 9.5" that still does not leave a lot of material to secure the sub to the adapter. The Fosgate subs are 10.16. I'm going to wait for the Quart sub. My rewired factory sub is doing fine and seems to be more efficient than anything else that I have tried.

Any updates on the MBQuart sub? I had heard it was going to be out by the end of October, but haven't heard anything recently.

I keep checking the website and I have not seen anything yet. I sent Robert a note through BRP suggesting that the ID of the adapter be lowered to 9 1/4" to 9 3/16" to better accommodate the 10TW1 and the 48CWRT10. I will let you know what he says.

Or you could have someone make you a ring at any size that you need. I've made a few with the cutout for a 10TW3 but I could make it any size using my perfect circle.

Rob said that they might produce them in different sizes in the future. The re-wired factory sub still sounds good.

I wonder if the MB Quart option is going to be the Discus. It's a shallow mount 10". Their other 2 10" options are too deep to fit in the factory enclosure without a significant spacer.

I had a long email chain with Dave at Quart. He said that it will be same dimensions as the stock, right down to the back being threaded to accept the rear screw. I’m speculating after this but it’ll probably be a 2 ohm single coil and be paired with their 400.1 amp.

And I just got a email from Dave at Quart and "It's coming watch out social media for availability options".

This Dayton could be another option then, with a similar bolt hole diameter as the Fosgate.

Or... I'm wondering if BRP may start making an adapter with a smaller ID so that there leaves more room for the mounting screws to bite. Any comments @BRP330 ?
We desided to redesigned the trim ring. The first design was at 9.5. We went ahead and changed it to 9.25 to allow more bite for the mounting screws.
