Broken unknown canister

Hello I was wondering if anyone could tell what this part is. I tried searching and couldn’t find anything. I have a 2024 JLURX with a 3.6.

It’s a canister with a line attached to it, next to the fuel tank, underneath the Jeep. The small line on one side of it snapped off.

I can't tell, but it may the charcoal evap canister.

Google search worked just fine for me. It’s the filler vent.

How did it snap off?

I was installing my new suspension. I was re routing the ebrake cables and I noticed one of the plastic tube that route into it was snapped off. Looks like it’s made of plastic. Didn’t think I was being too rough under there. I’ll take a better photo
