Sorry if this is in the wrong place. This piece just broke off what I’m assuming is a coolant tank? The only way to replace it looks like getting a whole new tank. Can someone tell me another way to maybe get this thing attached? I’m sure someone here has had this problem and figured out a way to fix it without replacing the whole reservoir. I’m not even sure what this hose does to be honest their Are 3 coolant reservoirs in here for the hybrid battery and stuff. I actually have the day off today so need to do this like now.

Just hope the parts department has one in stock.

Get a piece of rubber or metal tubing that fits within the inner diameter of the hose. Use that to temporarily bridge/connect the hose to the tank. Insert one end into hose and the other into the tank where the hose usually connects. Use a couple of zip ties to keep everything in place until you can replace the tank.

That tank is pressurized when the engine is warm, zip ties aren’t going to hold it.

They have one in stock and I’m going to grab it now. I have no choice but to drive it. I’m assuming just the one bolt on the bottom and then remove the bottom hose (hoping it doesn’t break) put the tank in and what do I fill it with. This car has 8 million coolant reservoirs

May not even need zip ties. If OP gets a long enough piece of tubing, it should hold inside the hose and tank.

Hopefully you drive there on battery power. Just pick up a gallon of coolant and you should be good.

That is the coolant reservoir for the engine not really an overflow.

I found an old piece of cat5 network cable pulled out the inside and shoved it in for now
