My elocker wire broke off when I was removing the plug. Can this be repaired or do I need to spend $100 for a new harness? Ggrraahhhh!

One thing you could do is peel back the harness, get a tool to release the old pin, crimp a new pin on a new color correct piece of wire and then solder/heatshrink the repair.

Of course I am assuming that you may either have all the tools needed, or know of someone that does.

I would NOT make a repair so close to the connector. It won’t hold up well and could cause issues down the road for you.

Thanks all. I removed the wire from the harness, but finding a replacement connector Pin looks impossible. Guy on eBay custom makes harnesses for $35, so I bought one. We shall see how it works.
