Break-in Oil Change for 392 - Thoughts?

Short trips where the oil doesn't get truly warmed up could leave some contaminants. I say short trips should go with a shorter oil change interval. But if you have a longer commute or drive longer distances more often can probably move to more of a 1 year. Then again that is my opinion and you know what they say.

not so much different change it however makes you feel good. I would say from my experience, all American made engine jeep 3.6 6.4 ford 5.0 3.5ecoboost had lots and lots of metal shaving in the oil filter, 5000 miles oil change interval at 30-50K miles.


also, change your rear diff fluid, they are really dirty even at around 1500 miles. then it stays clean ...

I had my oil changed at 1,500 miles for my 392 the 1st time and I will probably roll with 5,000 from here on out
