I don’t have a special bottle as i buy them to drink. i have been picking up bottles as i can find. old forester 1870 is tied with eagle rare for my favorites at the moment. mckenna bib is good. if you like rich subtle the woodford double oak is nice but old forester 1910 is better. O.F. 1920 is just weird for me. i get mint or peach gummies favorite dirt cheap is O.F. can’t beat 18 a bottle and as good as pricier bottles. a good easy drinker, try heavens door

Eagle Rare 10 Year and Col. E H Taylor Small Batch are great for regular drinking (I don’t drink daily). Blanton’s can’t be beaten as a “special occasion” bourbon when you can find it. I just found some more Saturday.

I'm with you on the Blanton's. Definitely my fave. Woodford Reserve "Double Oaked" on the daily. Cheers!

Brown Spirits Matter! I'm working my way through plenty of Bourbon, Scotch, Irish, Canadian, and rum.

My "well" drink is Maker's but I have a personal barrel pick that I like most. My top shelves include Jameson 18, Crown XR, Blanton's, a Blood Oath, and I'm really enjoying Angel's Envy Rye right now.

Guys try Johnny Drum. I have been asking my local bourbon guy some different ones to try and explore. He turned me onto Johnny Drum. It is from Willet and I find myself really enjoying it for a daily as well as it makes for some killer Old Fashioned‘s.

One of my local liquor stores got a barrel of the Old Forester Single Barrel. Unfortunately it’s one of the older 90 proof ones and not the 100 proof or barrel proof ones they started this year. It’s pretty good. I used some in a pot of red beans with smoked chicken sausage and it really set it off.

I am a fan of St. Augustine Distillery. For a $50 bottle, it is good stuff. Sorry no picture, their vodka is good too.

I also like Jack Single barrel, Buffalo Trace, Maker Mark, and Angel's Envy for an everyday or when I drink. I am not everyday drinker.

I do have some special bottles. I buy a special bottle for each time one of my son's come home from deployment and get back onto US soil. These two are currently in a holding pattern.

I also have a special bottle that my youngest son and I bought together that we only drink when he makes it home.

Then I have this. One of my employees gave it to me at my retirement with the condition that we open it and have a few shots out of it. This was made in 1935 and bottled in 1942. It was moving to me to receive this and share it with not just an employee, but now a life time friend. Brett worked for me for over 20 years. We are still friends and often work out together at the gym. I am going to have to have him over again for another shot soon. This is now an 85 year old bottle of Bourbon.
