Elijah Craig, Buffalo Trace, Noah's Mill, Four Roses, because they $30-$40 and they are good! :CWL:

I agree with this and add Knob Creek. They are all pretty smooth and flavorful for the cost. Might as well throw Gentlemans Jack Daniels on the list too.

Anyone ever had this Knob Creek? This specifically is a store pick at a place in Paducah, KY. I haven’t seen it around locally where I live.

If I buy this I can buy their last bottle or Eagle Rare for $60.

Knob Creek Single Barrel, in my experience, is friggin amazing. I like it SO much more than standard KC. It's worth $60 to me, especially if it helps you to get an Eagle Rare along with it.

That’s what I wanted to hear. I’ve only had the regular 9 year KC and it’s good but not exceptional. It’s a great value pick for whiskey aged that long which I tend to usually like more than the 3 or 4 year old stuff. Thanks. Going to take the plunge.

Go for it.
I snagged a Knob Pick, 14 year, 120 proof that was amazing. (east of Memphis and a bargain at $40)
I went back and grabbed a half dozen more bottles; still have one left unopened.
I’m not a huge fan of knob, but this BPick was surprisingly tasty.

BUY IT! $60 for a bottle of Eagle is hard to come by nowadays, and the knob will be great.

Quick question: what’s your favorite $30-$40 bottle that’s readily available everywhere? Why do you like it?
Coopers if you can find it. Buffalo Trace as an alternate,

Horse Soldier! Love that stuff. I received a bottle as a gift a couple years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the quality coming out of a new distillery.
