So while accelerating onto the interstate every dash light comes on the jeep. Service electronic stability control, service throttle control, and check engine light. Vehicle goes unit o limp mode. Checking the codes it shows bad map sensor. Could this cause electronic stability control and throttle control errors as well?

Did the MAP sensor fix the issue?

Sure did, it was actually the T Map sensor, put a new one in and it was good to go
Dude, you just whipped out a 5 minute response to a 3 year old thread. Hot damn, I've seen a unicorn today.

Awesome, I'm having the same issues, I tried checking it last night, but was looking at the MAP sensor, not T/MAP Sensor. Is that in the same intake area, not finding a good image of where it is.

New member here, I do realize this is an old thread but am having this issue. Replaced the boost pressure sensor as per diag procedure. Is the tmap sensor referred to for replacement the one located in the intake? Having trouble viewing the above referenced pic for some reason. Thinking I may have a wiring issue as I have two 5 volt references with the boost sensor unplugged.

Human error, engine was just replaced, cam sensor connector/boost sensor have the same plug and pigtail length. Even at 20+ years in the business not afraid to say I make mistakes 🤦‍♂️

Speed, how did you get to the T/map bolt? Did you need to remove the purge solenoid above it? Trying to get to mine and I can’t see any other way.

Once the purge solenoid is removed you can remove MAP sensor, but be careful not to damage the green o-ring gasket. I damaged mine when I was pulling it out.

Thanks! I appreciate the pictures! Looks like you just pulled it off the bracket? Mine was stuck hard on there so was considering just taking the bracket off. Looks like you can pull it off though! Haha Much appreciated.
