Mm. But for one edit -- air/air intercooler, not water/air -- the engine tech of the 1.5T in my wife's Honda is identical to that of the 2.0T in my Jeep. The former's compression ratio of 10.3:1 is also fractionally higher than the 10.0:1 in the Jeep.Definitely not going to make it to 200k.
Aluminum block, turbo, high compression, high pressure fuel system, direct injection, dual overhead cams, turbo, water/air intercooler, etc. About as complicated as possible.
Coincidentally, both engine designs date to 2016, and both have been racking up the miles out in the world ever since their introduction.
I monitor similar engine threads on the Honda owner forum as I do on this site. With allowances for discussion forums tending to magnify, or distort, the actual scope of owner experiences, I continue to believe that both engines are a good bet.
