Excellent photo, I think it's the first time we see the so mentioned 2.0 turbo.

That turbo does sound about right. Disappointing. That’s about as small and cheap as it gets. Oh well! Would be nice to see a twin-scroll or ball bearing turbo for quick spool and low end torque. Of course there will always be aftermarket turbo options. That being said, this engine will still probably be an ecu flash away from 50hp.

Do you see the BSG and BSG Battery in that picture?
No, but I don’t expect to see the 48V battery in the engine bay.. though it could be of course, but likely then it’s in the rare empty spaces.. but those are usually further down and closer to water, so makes sense to be inside.

I think in another photo of the 2.0 seen from the front and above, it looked like the BSG was visible front and centre just ahead of the plastic engine cover, but lower down out of the view of this shot.

It might be in a different thread somewhere, sorry if so, but do we know if this will only be with a manual like the Renegades or will this have an auto trans option.

The 3.6 is the only motor slated to be paired with a manual.

Here’s a pic of the 3.6L Penstar in the JL.
