Mine just stays on till I turn off and on the car. And since my area does not really have off-road stuff. There are no cliffs, no dry lake bed I am crossing, and that area it happens at there are not trees. Just normal pavement roads. I live in a flat area. Near space x’s starbase. The general area is flat with almost no trees near the roads. Since it was mainly farm lands. It usually takes 15min to an hour to get disabled. Anything close like trees or cliffs can do it. Driving across dry lake bed can as well. I think anything that doesn't look like a normal road behavior gets the software to give up.
